Azure Integration Developer (Remote)

One of the Select Group’s clients is seeking an Azure Integration Developer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate has experience with .NET, c# development and Azure Functions. This role can sit remote in Canada (EST work hours).

Azure Integration Developer Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands on experience in designing and developing Web and API-based technologies on . NET or .NET Core related technologies
• Familiar with asynchronous programming along with TDD – being able to write unit tests (team using xunit.net)
• Experience with Azure functions and durable functions; understand HTPP triggers along with service bus triggers
• Exposure to azure functions such as event grids and service bus
• Experience with Azure Cosmos database – experience working with unstructured data (mongo db or dynamo are acceptable also) the key is being able to access unstructured data
• PowerShell scripting is nice-to-have

Azure Integration Developer Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other team members and participate in application architecture and micro services based design and implementation efforts for various client projects
• Develop, create, and document technical specifications and designs that satisfy documented business/functional requirements
• Adhere to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and technology architecture requirements for application delivery
• Participate in code reviews and provide delivery guidance that spans application domains and teams
• Write maintainable code with extensive test coverage, working in a professional software engineering environment (with source control, release cycle, and continuous deployment)
